Breast cancer is a disease in which cells in the breast grow out of control. Mainly it occurs in females but less than 1% of all the breast cancer cases develop in males.

There are different kinds of breast cancer. The kind of breast cancer depends on which cells in the breast turn into cancer.

A breast is made up of three main parts: lobules, ducts, and connective tissues. Most breast cancers begin in the ducts or lobules.
The most common kinds of breast cancer are—

1.Invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC): The cancer cells grow outside the ducts into other parts of the breast tissue.

2.Invasive lobular carcinoma(ILC): Cancer cells spread from the lobules to the breast tissues that are close by.
These invasive cancer cells can also spread to other parts of the body.

3.Ductal carcinoma in situ(DCIS)

4.Lobular carcinoma in situ(LCIS)
DCIS and LCIS are non invasive conditions, the cancer cells haven’t invaded the surrounding tissue.
