Yes. These tips can help with breast cancer prevention:
Control your weight. Lose weight if you need to, then stay at a healthy weight.
Stay active: Exercise lowers your risk. Aim for 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of heavy activity each week (or a mix).
Limit or skip alcohol: Women should have no more than 1 alcoholic drink a day.
Breastfeed: The longer the better to lower your risk.
Limit hormone therapy after menopause: Ask your doctor about non-hormonal options to treat your symptoms.
Don't smoke.
Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet.
